We handle a variety of academic coaching/tutoring needs both locally in San Diego and worldwide via computer/telephone. We work with students of all ages.

Writing – Creative writing, editing, writing strategies to become a better writer; reports, essays, MLA, APA, speeches, journalistic style, etc.

Reading – Strategies and critical reading skills to improve reading comprehension.

Diagnosing and overcoming learning disabilities – Dyslexia and ADD/ADHD need not be lifelong problems.

Test prep – ACT, AP, FE, GED, GRE, ISEE, LSAT, MSAT, POE, RICA, VCAT, MCAT, SAT, (including Subject Tests), STAR...

Understanding "learning" – We teach students "how" to learn, which helps in every aspect of their development.

Helping students be their best – We take on an advocacy / coaching role as opposed to straight tutoring. Learning for life is our goal.

Speech Writing

Personal Statements for undergraduate and graduate schools - We will help you write personal statements for medical school, law school, veterinary school, business school, pharmacy school and/or dental school.

We also service the business world, helping executives (or up-and-coming executives) overcome the obstacles that hold them back. From adult students to recent graduates to CEOs who need help communicating more effectively, we'll help make you a better executive and an attractive asset to employers.

Writing skills – From e-mail communications to reports to memos, we'll help anyone communicate better via the written word. It's not just about using "correct" English – it's also about people understanding what you are trying to say.

Public speaking –They say public speaking is second only to death in regard to people's fears. It doesn't have to be that way – let us help you overcome your fear of public speaking. (Hint: This skill can have a huge impact on your career!)

Editing – We help authors edit their works.

Adult learning disabilities – You'd be surprised how many adults suffer from dyslexia and other learning disabilities. We can help.
