Are your services confidential?
Always – and without exception. That's why our testimonials are "sans names."
Our rates are custom-tailored to each student / situation. We're affordable, especially given the quality of our work. Please contact us, and we'll work out a fee schedule.
We accept both checks and credit card payments through PayPal.
Why do you say you're more of an academic coach than a tutor?
We stay connected to clients on an ongoing basis (as opposed to “only when scheduled”). In addition, we touch on other areas that may be holding clients back – for example, diet, sleep, motivation, etc. These are all important factors in education and learning, and we would be doing a disservice if we ignored them.
Locally, we serve the San Diego area. This means that if you live near San Diego, test prep and other services can be done personally. However, our methods are very effective via e-mail and Skype. We have clients in China, Taiwan, England, Russia, England, South Korea, and several U.S. states. Distance is not a factor.

Can you help special-ed students?
Absolutely! In fact, one of our biggest pet peeves is that special-ed students get the short end of the educational stick. Children who think outside the box, or are antsy, or whose minds move in many different directions, get pushed into special education – whether they need it or not. It’s stifling for many such children. We’ll help change that.
A HUGE Yes! Just like special education students, gifted students are often misunderstood and do not get the attention they need. We'll provide the proper challenges.

The affirmative answers end here. Sorry, but we do not write essays for people. However, if you find yourself in this situation, we do have a two-point plan that will help you:
